One week ago my dear son graduated from high school. You can tell he was excited about it:) Jordan
High's graduation was at the Huntsman Center. It was perfect for this class of almost 600 graduates and
their families. Lucky for us Jacob was the 5
th name called--third boy (yep, that means he's the third one from the left).

It looked pretty neat having the girls in silver and the boys in
maroon. This was Jordan's 100
th graduating class so they gave each graduate a medal to help them remember--it's the white one they are all wearing.

Jacob graduated with an Honors diploma from Canyons District. He was able to wear the gold collar for being part of the National Honor Society. He also wore gold cords for
NHS and then he wore
silver cords for being on the Honor Roll the whole time in high school. Ya, basically he's a smart one. I'll keep him:)

My friend Dina let me borrow her AWESOME camera for graduation. It let me take these great photos before.....with Raven

and after...with Stevie and Adam

...and with his grandparents

Jacob was really glad Grammy and Papa made the long drive up from Albuquerque to be there for his graduation. We were all so proud of Jacob's accomplishments that we HAD to have a
graduation party. Since the school took care of the party on grad night (10:30pm -4am tons of activities and food), and because my brother and his son drove up with my parents, but had to leave early, we had our party the Friday night BEFORE graduation. We had a great celebration. Lots of yummy food and lots of friends. Thanks to all of you who came to show your support for Jacob. He really had a great night.

Proctors and the
StensethsThe graduates!

The proud grandpas

The grill masters--my brother Bret and his son Brian. We were so glad they drove all the way up here for Jacob..oh and to cook all those burgers:)

After
all the grown ups left, the grads turned the backyard into a theater and watched a movie. It was a great night. We were so glad the weather cooperated.
So, now we can let summer begin!
