Party Time!

Last weekend was filled with PARTIES!  We started the weekend with Tyler's 14th Birthday party.  Yep, Tyler is now 14.  Another CRAZY in my life.  We had 8 boys here to help Tyler celebrate.  Pizza, games, brownies, soda, and all sorts of sillyness.

Tyler has some pretty great friends.  A few of them are our "adopted" sons..we like them that much:) It seems like we have had the same crew over for his parties, with just a few changes, since the third grade (he's in eighth now).  This year when asked what he wanted, he replied with "cash please".  He's been trying to save up enough money to get a new 3DS.  His friends were VERY generous.  He received $130 and a gift card to Cold  Stone.  He was so happy. I'm guessing a 3DS and a few games will be under the tree in a few days.  Lucky boy!
On Saturday we went and picked up Jacob from BYU and brought him home...ah complete again...at least for a month.  We spent the day baking in preparation for our next party....
The Hatch Family Christmas Party!
What a fun evening this always is.  I LOVE the Hatch family.  I seriously married into a WONDERFUL family. This year Grandma Hatch wanted to add in a talent show.  What a fun addition that was.  There is some great talent in this family...from playing musical instruments to reciting poems, to pretending to be different animals and juggling..we had it all.  We also had 37 people, soups and bread sticks, a table full of yummy goodies (including the beloved gumball machine filled with M&M's), the kids gift exchange, and, of course, the white elephant gift exchange.  Oh, it's just one of the best nights of the season!
