We brought in the new year by playing games, eating yummy food, and watching fun movies all with the Walter kids (started with just Brian, but had all the others before midnight). At the stroke of midnight we went on the front porch and made a lot of noise. Surprisingly, Nathan made it awake to midnight too. Tyler and Brian decided that a new year is best brought in by Jones soda and 4lbs of sour gummy worms. I warned them that they would be paying for their next dentist visit. They didn't seem to mind though.
This morning Matt decided to try out his Christmas gift. He took our Tyler and Tyler up to Brighton and spent the day skiing. A lot of Matt's family joined them too. It was a Hatch Family Ski day. They had a lot of fun and came home quite tired.
