Thanks to Grammy and papa the boys got to have a major Kenex party. Here's the photos to prove it since you are so far away. They spent an entire afternoon putting together their Kenex sets. All working harmoniously together--well for most of the time anyway. Miranda loves the boots you got her too. She's worn them everyday. She looks pretty cool in them don't you think?
We had a very white Christmas here. Christmas morning we drove through a blizzard to get to Grandma and Grandpa Hatches house so we could talk to Alice in Chile. We couldn't stay for too long though because we really didn't want to get stuck there.
On our way back home we were able to stop in and say Merry Christmas to Grandma Greats--Matt's paternal grandmother--our only living grandparent. The kids love stopping by and visiting grandma greats. She always has treats to share.
So, it snowed most of Christmas Day and most of the day after. We ended up with about 8-10 inches at our house. The kids have enjoyed playing in it and it's been great to really just hang out at home watching it and sipping yummy hot cocoa. We've still gone shopping--on crazy slick roads--but those gift cards burned a pretty bad hole in every ones pockets. The kids were able to get some great deals though. It was funny to see how much fun they had shopping even though they had just gotten Christmas gifts. I guess they were able to get those few things they still really wanted.
