Tuesday afternoon brought this view from our front porch. Yet another fire, but this one a little too close for comfort. Lucky for us, the fire was on the other side of the mountain. My aunt and uncle that live in Colorado Springs however were not so lucky. They lost their house last week. All of these fires have been crazy. I think that's what made today even better. We woke up to a rainy day. A beautiful rainy day. We took full advantage of it. We went to see the new Disney movie Brave..two thumbs up! We also went to the indoor pool to swim. The mid-seventy temperatures are heavenly and to make things even better, this is the view from my front porch right now....a full rainbow!
Now, let's hope this rain helps with those fires!
