Much Ado About Nothing

Last night Mrs. Cheever's sixth grade class put on their production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. They did a GREAT job! You could tell they had put in hours of work into making it just right. They even had to do some ballroom dancing. It was funny to see the boys dancing with girls towering over them. Isn't that what 6th grade is about though? Tyler played the character of Verges and got to make the audience laugh several times. The boys got a chance to experience what it is like to wear makeup. Tyler even had to part his hair, grease it, and comb it to the side...not to mention the poofy white shirts. We didn't get any good photos of the play, but afterward the cast met everyone in the foyer for photos and autographs. Here's Tyler with two favorite chums, Tayio and Cole. Tyler and Aaron or should I say Dogberry and Verges
Kudos go out to a teacher that would spend so much time and energy on making a great memory for these kids.

Way to go Tyler! That looks like a lot of fun! And I'm glad to hear that you're getting around a little more, Lindy. I hope that you're feeling well.
