Springing into step

It's finally starting to feel like Spring around here and we are trying to live it up. We have been spending a lot of time outside...enjoying the sunshine.

Miranda and Jacob have been busy with the Jordan High Track Team. Jacob is running the 400m, 800m, and 1600m events and Miranda is running the shorter faster distances--100m and 200m. They are both enjoying getting their bodies into shape and getting a head start on that summer tan:) Miranda is the third one with a white shirt on. Nathan is on a soccer team with his neighborhood buddies. They are playing on a bigger field this year and starting to play positions. He is working hard and trying to be more aggressive with the ball. He's getting lots of exercise:)

On Saturday Tyler ran a 5K with one of his friends. He did great. He's looking forward to being on the cross country team at the middle school next year. He is also busy with scout camp outs and activities.
Tonight was the family fun run fundraiser for Tyler and Nathan's elementary school. We had a great time. I was to busy helping with the water/powerade during the race to take a photo, but Tyler and his buddies had fun pretending to cross the finish line so I could get at least one photo.
On Saturday we were able to go cheer on my sister-in-law, Laura, as she ran in the Salt Lake Marathon. She did great! She is amazing. Matt was able to run the last 8 miles with her. It made for a very fun Saturday morning. Way to go Laura!
