On Thursday driving home from music lessons there were five kids in the car. Jacob-15(a day before his birthday), Adam W. -16, Tyler W.-14, Tyler H.-10 and Nathan-5. The following question was asked..out of the blue with no prior conversation going on.
"What is the difference in speed from what the speed limit signs say and when a policeman will pull you over to give you a ticket?"
It might have been a question on any of their minds. They are all boys. They all like to know how far they can really push the limits before they get into trouble. Normally I would have guessed it to be one of the teenagers asking this..the ones getting ready to drive on their own (or the one already driving on his own), but no. It was my sweet 5 year old. Already analyzing and plotting. The others boys got quite a chuckle out of it though. Especially when Matt answered honestly 5 to 10 miles per hour.
So this is what we have to look forward to........
