Spring Break

So the kids are back to school. They had Thursday through Monday off for Spring Break. This year we stayed home and really didn't do much. We had some much needed sleep ins and lazy time. There was a constant stream of kids coming and going and just hangin' out. On Saturday we did have a few activities. In the morning we took the kids out to breakfast at IHOP as a reward for third quarter grades and as part of their Easter gift. It was so yummy we all stuffed ourselves. Later on Saturday we went down to Provo for an Easter Celebration with The Hatches. The kids got to do and egg hunt--which they loved (and sadly that Miranda and Jacob are now too old for--they did get to hide the eggs though). We also had a yummy dinner. My sister-in-law, Laura, made these AMAZING bunny cup cakes. Aren't they cute!
The hunt and it's aftermath
It is fun to live by so much family. The kids love to hang out with their cousins.
On Sunday we had stake conference, our own egg hunt, and yet another large yummy meal. All in all it was a pretty good spring break even if we didn't do anything too exciting.
The weather was not all that grand during the weekend, but it was finally nice yesterday. Rainy again today, but we know that these "April showers bring May flowers"!

Sounds like a fun weekend. Cousins are the best. I love all my memories of playing with cousins growing up.
