Prom Art

Last Saturday was Jordan High School's Jr. Prom. Jacob went with his good friend Taylor Rowley. There were 8 couples in their group. It always makes it more fun to go with a big group of friends. The bad thing about being the parent of the boy is that we don't usually get to see the couple all spiffed up together....and we have to beg others for photos. I did get this photo of Jacob looking snazzy in his tux. It was one of those fun all day long dates.
9:30am-4pm-hike with a picnic lunch (also included a flash thunderstorm just to keep things hoping)

Then the boys gave the girls a bit of time to get looking pretty and gave them time to make dinner

This past Wednesday JHS had their year end art show. Jacob had several pieces in it. He's been taking a concurrent ceramics class this year. I think that is the only class that has been keeping him at school lately (seniorits has hit hard:) Anyone who knows Jacob knows how much he likes to play with clay. It will be fun to see where he goes with it. Here are a few photos of the pieces he had in the show.

The next few weeks are going to be quite busy for this young man. This week he will have his LAST :( concert at JHS. His graduation gown is hanging in my bathroom. I'm not sure I'm ready for all this...even if he is:)
