Every year just after school gets out our stake sponsors a "family fun day". This year Tyler decided to turn the day into one long party. His friends started arriving at 6:30am and stayed until 5pm. Monster party. The day begins with a 5k race--yep that's where the 6:30am comes in. This year they talked Matt into being the director so he didn't get to run it, but Tyler and three of his friends did. I did too:) After the race they did a parade and then a big carnival. I think the kids like all the food (snow cones, popcorn, ice cream, and a great
Mexican lunch) and we all like the prices--FREE! It was a little cold for eating snow cones, but he kids still did. Anyway it's a day we all look forward to. Luckily the weather held out...it didn't really start to downpour until the very end. It was a really fun day for everyone...even Jacob and Miranda got home
from EFY in time to join in on the fun. (photos of their week away will be posted soon)
