Matt ran the St. George Marathon yesterday. He finished in 3:11:21. It was his second fastest out of 19 marathons. His average pace was 7:17 per mile. Ya, he's the MAN! It was a lot faster than he was hoping to....easily qualifing for Boston...again. Happy day! Happy Man! So we have a get away planned for Boston in April 2011! Wahoo!Since the kids had Thursday and Friday off school, we spent the few days before the marathon in Cedar City with Matt's sister Audrey and her family. We had a great time visiting them. We went on a fun hike in Cedar Breaks. That place is beautiful.
On Friday night we got to go to Brian's school (where he teaches 8th grade science) and watch the BYU game. The kids had fun hanging out in his classroom. We also had fun jsut hangin' out with them. Our niece Katelyn is a cutie! The big kids had fun being silly with her. Fun weekend!

YAY for Matt. that is awesome. So I guess I have a year or so to re-qualify... I would love to run Boston again... maybe in 2011, always more entertaining with someone you know. (of course I know we would not run together)
