The Gateway Fountains--Tyler getting blasted
Yesterday we got to spend the day hiking...another thing we love about Utah (not to mention the fact that we got to ignore all of our to-do's for and afternoon!) We hiked in at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon to Cecret Lake. It is a really fun hike. Matt's dad, brother's family and sister's family got to join us. There's nice little lake to soak your feet in when you get there. We even got to have snowball fights along the way and cross over several cool springs.Tyler, Sierra, and Jenna
It was beautiful. There were a lot of salamanders in the lake that the kids had fun trying to catch (with no luck)Esther, Christian, and Laura
After spending some time playing at Cecret Lake some of the group went on to hike to the top of Sugarloaf Peak --elevation 11,051. Unfortunately I had to get back to get ready for work, so I went back home with my two sister in-laws--Laura and Esther and their younger kids. Matt and the boys (Nathan, Tyler, and Jacob--Miranda stayed home to begin with) went on to top. They all did great. They are great hikers. Although Nathan did get a whopper of a bloody nose at the top. Even my nieces Jenna-age 7 and Sierra-age 11 made it to the top. Way to go girls!!

This is so great. Isn't blogging fun? So I added your blog to my page. I am new at this thing but learning quickly. Happy to see your lovely family pics. It's amazing to see how much they've grown. They are so cute. Hope you are doing well.
